I appreciate the care and time the East Point location staff put into my med orders. It is a very busy location, so sometimes you have to wait. Often the people that work the pharma counter are facilitating three sales at one time. I’ve never had my order mixed up, unavailable, etc. The doctors of the pharmacy are kind and so smart. The nurses or techs that administer shots are skilled with a light touch for what could be a painful experience, but is not. My questions are addressed with respect and efficiency.

I wish I read the reviews before coming to this pharmacy location on a Saturday at 5:35pm. As a RN of 25 years, I cannot, in good faith, recommend anyone patronize this pharmacy. At 3:50pm on a Saturday in 12/2024, I paid for a med to be delivered via the CVS app. After checking out, I noticed the delivery day changed from same day delivery to next day delivery around noon. I needed the medication in my system as soon as possible so I wouldn't have to go to the ER overnight, so I decided to head to the pharmacy before they closed. Arrived at 5:35pm. Unfortunately, the physical store uses a different payment and computer system that isn't linked with the app. The store employees have no idea what transactions and payments patients make on the app. In addition, there was no way for them to apply the payment I made on the app for delivery to an in-person pick-up transaction. Note: Delivery is free. The employees spoke amongst themselves and decided to cancel my order without asking me first. If given the option, I would have decided to keep the original delivery time for personal reasons. As a patient, I am empowered to ask questions and seek clarity about service failures so I can receive the prescribed medication for an acute illness. One of the employees decided to further complicate the service failure by asking an unproductive and inefficient question inquiring about previous CVS employment. What does a patient's CVS employment have to do with the said sick person receiving medication for an acute illness? It is never appropriate for employees to get so enraged by patient questions they need to be physically held back by the Pharmacist on duty. You read that right....physically held back. This prompted the Pharmacist to finally come speak with me after staying silent and choosing not to address me personally until then. I will never understand how people that have no Customer Service skills or empathy seek opportunities in Customer-facing roles dealing with sick and disabled people. I wasted 20 minutes I can't get back, money spent for Uber to and from the pharmacy and a worsening fever headache from my Acute Illness.

If you want to be the least prioritized customer please visit the CVS pharmacy on Main Street in East Point. It's been multiple days of getting in contact with the pharmacy directly. I've had to contact other pharmacies to try and get in contact with them to get prescriptions transferred but no luck. I get someone on the line and they've had me on hold for 40 minutes and counting. Managers please manage your team and do better. It should be no excuse to have someone on line for 40 minutes. I don't know who is on staff at 6 pm handling calls but they need to be let go immediately.

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE! They have know care about making you wait if you go inside or out. So just because I live in East Point you feel it’s okay to treat me like I’m nothing! Definitely will be checking out Amazon Pharmacy so I won’t have to put up with this AWFUL service.

While the staff is nice, the pharmacy drive-thru is the absolute, least efficient experience I’ve ever had. It is always a long wait. It leaves you wondering what are they actually doing that is taking so long. I timed it and it’s taking an average of 20 minutes per car. Either they need stricter protocols for who can be served in the drive-thru lane or they need new employees.
