Dr. Taghechian is a Board-Certified Urologist with Special Expertise in Cosmetic Gynecology. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry from Emory University, and attended the Emory School of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Taghechian completed her residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Texas in Houston, TX. She received training in Cosmetic Gynecology from experts around the world so that she could provide comprehensive feminine care to her patients.

After finishing her training, Dr. Taghechian joined Georgia Urology in 2011, where she has brought focus to women's intimate health. She founded Aayla Sexual Wellness and Aesthetics so that she could offer her one-of -a-kind services to women around the world.

Dr. Taghechian was voted one of Atlanta Magazine's Top Docs in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. She was honored with the Exceptional Women in Medicine awards in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 recognizing her contributions to the advancement of healthcare through clinical care, research, community service, education and leadership.

Such high recommendations for the Aayla group! Dr. Taghechian was so sensitive, kind, knowledgeable, a listener, and besides professional, she was so much fun! She and “her people” were so personable and welcoming. No step in the procedures were left unexplained, and the difference in my sexual wellness at the age of 76 was overwhelmingly successful! It was well worth every bit of money I spent!

I can't say enough about Dr. Taghechian's practice. She's intelligent, caring, and honest... exactly what you want when searching for this type of doctor. Her office is warm and inviting, and her entire staff are ultimate professionals, (and very down-to earth). Real people providing services that produce results. They absolutely eliminate any uncomfortability you might feel about what you're going through. I wouldn't trust anyone else to help me in this "arena" of medicine. Thank you all so very much!
